The case of 62-year-old Ohioan Nick Christie is nothing short of disturbing and a quite telling example of the injustices that are now all too rampant of our so-called justice system.

Over two and a half years ago, Nick Christie was on a vacation with his wife Joyce in Lee County, Florida. According to his wife, Nick Christie was reportedly displaying signs of depression and erratic behavior, so she called authorities and asked for him to be taken to a hospital where he could receive his medication.

For some reason which is not made clear in an article by My FOX Tampa Bay, the police arrested Christie for disorderly intoxication instead of taking him to a hospital as she requested.

This is where it begins to get really ugly. According to her lawsuit, Christie was pepper sprayed over a 48-hour period, even while tied up in a restraint chair.

He was forced to a wear a so-called spit hood and for no clear reason was stripped naked while his entire exposed body was subjected to the chemical irritant in ludicrous doses.

The Christie family’s Cleveland, Ohio-based attorney Nick DiCello explains what see in the unsettling photograph of Christie before he was murdered by My FOX Tampa Bay, “This photo is a picture of a man who is strapped to a chair naked inside a jail for hours with a hood over his face.

“That evokes thoughts of being tortured,” he added.

I find this to be a bit of an understatement, as the treatment Christie received is, at least to me, quite clearly torture. Continue Reading

Sheriffs Rise Up Against Feds

As more people became dissatisfied with federal government controls and land grabs, it was inevitable that local law enforcement would eventually see the bigger picture. At the northern California fairgrounds of Yreka last month, seven California sheriffs and another from Oregon gathered with a large group of citizens to say that they are finally going to do something about it.

“A giant has been awakened,” said Plumas County, Calif. Sheriff Greg Hagwood, “and they didn’t count on that,” speaking of the federal bureaucracy.

With exposure of the Emergency Management Center in San Luis Obispo a few decades ago, California began to offer the rest of the nation some evidence of the psychological conditioning aimed from the federal level at state, county and city law enforcement.

Dean Wilson, sheriff of Del Norte County (Sacramento), is a great example of this great awakening. He received the loudest and longest applause  for his candor in confessing past faults after apologizing for not understanding the central government assault and land grab being committed against the people and what he should have been doing about it. Only in the past year has he done a turnaround and begun to behave as a county sheriff instead of an extension of federal law enforcement. Continue Reading

Libertarians Call On Florida Sheriffs To Arrest TSA Agents

PALM HARBOR, FLORIDA – In a strongly-worded email sent today to all of Florida’s 67 county sheriffs, the Libertarian Party of Florida demanded the arrest of TSA agents for violations of the U.S. and Florida Constitutions, and accused TSA agents of committing sexual battery. The letter reads as follows:

Dear Sheriff,

On this day in 1776, our forebears founded this Nation by declaring their independence from an oppressive government.  This beautiful and timeless document expressed the self-evident truth that all people have certain inalienable rights, upon which no government can infringe.  They asserted that governments are formed among men to secure these rights, not to impede or restrict them.

The Libertarian Party of Florida is reaching out to you, and to all of Florida’s 67 Constitutional Sheriffs.  We, The People of the State of Florida must turn to you as our last line of defense against a federal government that is usurping authority and ignoring the rule of law.

I am referring specifically to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and their egregious violations of the United States Constitution, as well as the Florida Constitution and state law. Continue Reading
