Another brilliant classic from Mr. Peak Crackers. – Z

(RT) The US Military’s suicide rate grew a startling 15 percent in 2012. The Pentagon, which has put great effort into lowering military suicide rates, has acknowledged that battle casualties are no longer the primary reason for soldiers’ deaths. (continued below)

A little blatant, you might say. This is good to show those who think the possibility of using such actors in Boston is unthinkable. If you notice how long the smoke lingers over the blast scene in the previous video post Boston Bombing – Did You Notice This? you’ll see there’s plenty of cover to set the stage as they were trained to do. – Zen

Amputees in Action – bringing dramatic realism to army exercises

Amputees in Action has won a contract from the UK Ministry of Defence to help provide realism to military training. Berenice Baker talks to managing director John Pickup, himself an amputee actor, about how this innovative company is helping to prepare medics and soldiers for the worst possible battlefield injury scenarios.

In June 2012, ‘Amputees in Action’, an agency for amputee actors, was appointed by international service company Serco Group as one of two training subcontractors to help deliver a major contract awarded by the UK Ministry of Defence.

Under the Contemporary Operating Environment Force (COEFOR) contract, Amputees in Action will provide their own unique brand of raw, blood and guts realism to help support the British Army in their preparations for operations, such as those in Afghanistan.

Here, Berenice Baker asks John Pickup about the agency’s involvement in military training exercises and what the future holds for the innovative company. Continue Reading

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is looking to buy over 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the next four years for “law enforcement and training purposes”. The purchase of this outrageous amount of ammunition (about 5 bullets for each and every American) is causing many observers to worry about the direction of law enforcement in the United States .

According to a Forbes article entitled 1.6 Billion Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security? It’s Time For A National Conversation:

“Some of this purchase order is for hollow-point rounds, forbidden by international law for use in war, along with a frightening amount specialized for snipers.”

The article also points out that:

“At the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending less than 6 million rounds a month. Therefore 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years.  In America.”

Yes, 1.6 billion rounds is enough to sustain a war in America for more than 20 years. And all of this ammunition will go to law enforcement -  to be used in America, against Americans.

Relevant fact: While 1.6 billion rounds are being purchased by the DHS, gun shops across America are reporting a “massive ammunition shortage” – meaning that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Americans to purchase guns and ammo . In short, in this post-Sandy Hook era, the general population is being stripped of its weapons while the U.S. Government is stockpiling an incredible amount of it. There’s a noticeable shift going on here. Continue Reading

The sight of Army helicopters and the sound of gunfire created a lot of concern Monday afternoon in one Houston neighborhood. We received a lot of phones calls, Tweets and Facebook posts from worried neighbors, wondering what was going on.
With military helicopters flying above her southeast Houston neighborhood, Frances Jerrals didn’t know what to think.

When you see this, you think the worst. When you hear this, you think the worst,” Jerrals said. And so, she passed along her concern.

She told me ‘don’t come home it sounds like we’re in a war zone. Guns, shooting, helicopters flying around the house,’” Isaac Robertson Jr. said.

The U.S. Army along with other agencies took over the old Carnegie Vanguard High School near Scott and Airport. There were armed men in fatigues, plenty of weapons and what many thought were real live rounds

I felt like I was in a warzone.” Jerrals said. “It was nonstop. I was terrified.”

Turns out, it was a multi-agency training drill that Jerrals wished would have come with warning. Continue Reading

On Monday, renowned author and humanitarian Dr. Jim Garrow made a shocking claim about what we can expect to see in Obama’s second term.

Garrow made the following Facebook post:

I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new “litmus test” in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not.” Those who will not are being removed.

So, who is the source?

Garrow replied: “The man who told me this is one of America’s foremost military heroes.”

Understand, this is not coming from Alex Jones or Jesse Ventura, or from anyone else the left often dismisses with great ease.

Garrow is a well-respected activist and has spent much of his life rescuing infant girls from China, babies who would be killed under that country’s one-child policy. He was also nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for his work. Continue Reading

A new emergency pamphlet in Israel instructs residents to prepare for the worst if Tel Aviv conducts a military strike on Iran. But the face on the brochure isn’t the country’s President or Prime Minister – it’s a Muppet.

The cover of the 15-page leaflet pictures a smiling Moishe Oofnik, the Israeli Muppet version of Oscar the Grouch. He’s the resident pessimist on Rechov Sumsum, Israel’s co-production of the long-running American children’s program ‘Sesame Street.’

Muppets on the popular show are known for teaching children numbers and the alphabet, but Moishe Oofnik has taken on a different job with this pamphlet – instructing Israelis how to react if their nation’s government launches a war against Iran.

The booklet, issued by the Israeli military, says that once air raid sirens sound, residents of the Jewish state would have between 30 seconds and three minutes to find cover before rockets hit their area. The brochure, which is being distributed across the country, also teaches Israelis how to prepare a safe room or shelter for emergency situations.

The furry Muppet puts a happy face on the warnings, though the issue is anything but lighthearted: Israeli ministers have estimated that up to 500 civilians could die in the conflict that would follow a strike on Iran. Continue Reading

In July on 28th street and Fifth ave, I became part of an incident that was shocking and an abuse of police power!

I work on 28th st and Fifth ave. I went outside my office and headed across the street to get some soy chips at the deli. I noticed the area had been blocked off with barricades around the streets, but I also saw some people walking around them as well to get on the sidewalk…so, I continued on my route towards the deli when suddenly a man in a blue (military) uniform stops me and says “you’re on unauthorized property…stop.”

I stopped and turned back around to go back to my office, when suddenly I was face to face (or, face to chest because he was over 6 feet tall) with a man in a white shirt and business pants who shouts “Homeland Security” and puts his hand up against me. I began to explain to him that I work across the street and was just going back to my office, but the minute I opened my mouth I was grabbed by him. I tried to pull my arm away and then he started to twist it (and turn me around) like he was going to break it. Then, the man in the blue uniform grabbed my other arm. I told him he was hurting me and please stop and please tell me what was going on. He mentioned the president was in town and he was a lieutenant.

He then continued to drag me further away from my office. I asked why they let me get out of my building in the first place and he said it was a mistake. Then, the lieutenant grabbed the back of neck and started to squeeze tight. I felt my vertebrae cracking. He said I was going to be handcuffed if I said another word and he continued to squeeze my neck. I was told I could not go back to my office and was walked up the block by the man in the blue uniform. He repeatedly told me not to look anywhere but straight ahead or he would handcuff me. At the end of the block I asked how he could treat me this way. He said “I am military and just do what I am told. These were my orders.” Continue Reading

On Aug. 17, Germany became the latest country to remove longstanding protections for civilian populations from military intervention in domestic conflicts. In a new court ruling, which repealed laws created out of the Nazi era in Germany, the government can now use the military against citizens in extreme cases, joining the U.S. and other nation states who have removed the dividing linebetween civilian and military policing.

The German military will in future be able to use its weapons on German streets in an extreme situation, the Federal Constitutional Court says.

The ruling says the armed forces can be deployed only if Germany faces an assault of “catastrophic proportions”, but not to control demonstrations. - BBC Continue Reading

Freedom in America is endangered. Bipartisan complicity plans destroying it altogether.

America is on a fast track toward tyranny and ruin. Police state laws threaten everyone.

Increasingly dissent is marginalized. It’s not tolerated. Resistance is called dangerous to national security.

Federal authorities target activists. So do militarized local police. No holds barred tactics are employed.

In October 2010, the Center for Constitutional Rights said:

“The growing threat to the right to dissent has been demonstrated in the U.S. government’s efforts to silence speech, and criminalize and target peaceful movements.”

“These efforts are becoming more aggressive, emboldened further by the Supreme Court’s increasingly conservative decisions, for instance regarding material support in the form of humanitarian aid to so-called terrorist organizations.”

Howard Zinn called dissent “the highest form of patriotism.” Michael Ratner and Margaret Ratner Kunstler’s book “Hell No: Your Right to Dissent in Twenty First Century America” discusses what everyone needs to know.

It explores how activism and dissent are targeted. Demonstrations are attacked and disrupted. Protesters are called terrorists. They’re arrested and jailed for expressing constitutionally guaranteed First Amendment and other rights.

Authorities claim they give “material support” to perceived enemies. “Hell No” provides advice on dealing with a menu of police state practices.

American’s First Amendment guarantees free expression, a free press, the right to peacefully assemble, free exercise of religion, and right to petition government for redress of grievances. Continue Reading

I am a trained U.S. Air Force weather observer who worked in the military as an observer from 1960?1964, serving mainly at Beale AFB, with a 3-month assignment at the Pacific Missile Range at Point Hueneme, Oxnard, California, working with NASA, RCA, and the U.S. Navy on the Tiros III weather satellite readout team. I am familiar with cloud observation, jet contrails, the military, and space-based weather information systems.
Contrails are by definition ‘condensation trails’ left by hot jet exhaust melting ice crystals which rapidly cool and refreeze and disappear. They do not stay in the sky and create clouds. A contrail is usually of low volume and extends some 2?20 times the length of the aircraft. Exceptions occurred during WW II from large deployments of combustion engine bombers, but did not generally extend into the jet age.
Jet clouds made their major appearance for weather observers in the early 1990s, after many years of jet traffic without such clouds. One can go back and look at the sky in old movies to see the changes.
[Ed. - they're re-editing old flicks to appear otherwise, keep your eyes peeled.]
Why the change? Were the changes unintentional from commercial airlines and a change in fuel?

To answer this question, I began to observe the aircraft with telescope and binoculars. My observations found that the majority of cloud-creating aircraft were all white, unmarked KC?135 (Boeing 707) or large C?141 air tankers, flying in groups and in grid patterns including turn around, flying in both military and commercial airspace, and clearly not commercial aircraft.

They have to be military or military contractors. Continue Reading
