What will it take for enough people to wake up? Enough people, that is, to implement a real difference in society and our way of life. Let me reiterate my case for why I believe that truth will prevail. I believe that consciousness is a form of energy that is in motion. This motion is moving TOWARD growth and expansion not the other way around.
Thus, I pose a reasonable hypothesis that goes something like this: If more people are awake today than were yesterday and more people will be awake tomorrow than today, which I believe is the case, then mathematically speaking we can confidently predict that humanity will turn things around and defeat the current ideology of tyranny which is trying to take over the world.
Turning things around will require a paradigm shift; or, more precisely, several small paradigm shifts slowly leading us away from the current political paradigm. Paradigm shifts are happening all around us all the time. We actually have many paradigms (or beliefs) that make up our overall paradigm (belief system) and these paradigms are constantly being challenged. To someone not grounded in some reliable comfort source this idea of paradigm shift can be frightening. My reliable comfort comes from my understanding of the existence of things that we can predict like the natural sciences and mathematics, as well as my awareness of the things that we can’t predict or fully understand like god, the universe, the power and potential of the human being, and spirituality. Last column I asserted that the global Money Power controls people nowadays through psychological warfare. Put simply, they lie to people. As long as enough “sheeple” believe the lie, they can then be counted on to police the thoughts of any dissenters. This is a much easier control mechanism than the open violence that had marked the Money Power’s rule from the Dark Ages up until quite recently.
Last column I pinpointed one of their biggest lies: the might is right dominance paradigm, which portrays nature as a violent and dangerous place, a dog eat dog world where capitalism, colonialism, warfare and even slavery are “necessary evils”. This despite 100,000 years of relatively peaceful human existence which proves otherwise.
So what are the real life implications of this “programming” of Western industrial man, largely through mass media talk radio and television?
First, and most importantly, you get a population that fears and loathes nature. If nature is such a brutish place then it must be alright to regularly subdue and destroy it. Since humans are a part of nature, we are implicitly taught to hate ourselves. Here organized religion plays a huge role, supplanting a timeless nature-based spirituality based on scientific inference with a fear/guilt/shame-based top-down belief system which replicates the Money Power-imposed monopoly capitalist order. While there have been occasional skirmishes between the Money Power and the Church throughout their relatively brief existence, they are essentially two sides of the same Rothschild-minted coin.
Advancements made in the field of psychology by Third Reich Nazi scientists have also played a large role in promoting self-hatred and nihilism. Every time you watch a commercial on TV, run by one of the Money Power-controlled corporate tentacles, you are not so much being persuaded to buy that product- though of course that is a part of the spectacle- as you are being denigrated and demeaned. You are, according to their own documents, being “talked to like a 6th-grader”. You are being told that you are a worthless no-good human who has greasy hair, yellow teeth and an inadequate sex life. All of which can be fixed for a small fee.

America has no shortage. Belligerent groups infest the country. United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is one of many. Its leaders represent extremist neocon interests. By any definition they’re rogues.
Mark Wallace serves as CEO. He held several Bush administration positions, including UN envoy.
Kristen Silverberg is president. She was Bush’s EU ambassador.
Dennis Ross was Middle East envoy in both Clinton and Bush administrations. He’s now “counselor” for the pro-Israeli Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP).
James Woolsey is former CIA director.
Gary Samore served in Clinton and Bush’s National Security Council.
Meir Dagan was Ariel Sharon’s Mossad head.
August Hanning is former German Federal Interior Ministry state secretary.
Francis Townsend was Bush’s assistant for Homeland Security.
Richard Dearlove is former British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) head.
Twenty other advisory board members have similar extremist credentials.
UANI calls itself an advocacy group against Iranian “ambition(s) to obtain nuclear weapons.” Wallace, Woolsey, Ross, and the late Richard Holbrooke founded the group in 2008. Continue Reading
As we slog towards another vapid, largely meaningless exercise in pretend democracy with the selection of a new president and Congress this November, it is time to make it clear that the current president, elected four years ago by so many people with such inflated expectations four years ago (myself included, as I had hoped, vainly it turned out, that those who elected him would then press him to act in progressive ways), is not only a betrayer of those hopes, but is a serial violator of his oath of office. He is, in truth, a war criminal easily the equal of his predecessor, George W. Bush, and perhaps even of Bush’s regent, former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Let me count the ways:
* For starters, in vowing to “preserve, protect and defend the US Constitution of the United States,” President Obama, upon taking office, had a sacred obligation to prosecute the people who had gravely wounded that document prior to his assuming office. It was clear, as I wrote in my book The Case for Impeachment: The Legal Argument for Removing President George W. Bush from Office (St. Martin’s Press, 2006), that Bush and Cheney had ordered and condoned and covered up torture of captives in their so-called “War” on Terror, as well as in the very real wars against Iraq and Afghanistan, committing grievous war crimes that are not only violations of international law, but of the US Criminal Code, given that the US is a leading author and signatory of the Geneva Accords). They also were war criminals of the first degree for orchestrating, through lies to both the UN Security Council and the US Congress and the American people, about the alleged threat and imminence of any threat by Iraq to the US or its allies. President Obama, under the UN Charter and under US law, as the president, commander in chief and top law officer in the nation, was bound to investigate and prosecute those crimes. Instead, he ordered that there would be no prosecutions. Continue Reading

Would the US military really sacrifice its own to start a war with Iran? Would the US really be complicit in attacks on its own citizens to get into lucrative wars and gain access to precious natural resources?
If this sounds outlandish to you all you have to do is read. And read.
The USS Enterprise that just arrived in the Persian Gulf, nicknamed the “Big E”, is scheduled to be decommissioned after this last tour of duty. A very expensive endeavor, especially since this was the very first nuclear powered vessel. It’s reminiscent of the old warships left in Pearl Harbor as the newer ones left just prior to the attacks, or the ultra-expensive asbestos removal scheduled for the Twin Towers before their timely demise.
They like to kill many birds with one carefully planned stone if you haven’t noticed. They also need something spectacular to jar public opinion and an aircraft carrier can sustain a lot of very visible, dramatic damage without sinking to once again shock the dumbed-down American sheeple. It will also be reminiscent of WW2 which brings up all that subconscious war programming.
What’s With the Ships?
It seems there’s a propensity for attacking ships to get us into wars. The Spanish-American war began with the sinking of the Maine which turned out not to have been attacked by the Spanish. The Lusitania was deliberately sent into German waters where it was blown up to get the US into WW1. Pearl Harbor was a deliberately provoked and allowed event for WW2, and then the non-existent Gulf of Tonkin incident started the Vietnam conflagration. Continue Reading
