It was 1996 when I saw chemtrails being sprayed across the sky for the first time. I was visiting relatives in Kenai, Alaska and we were out camping for the weekend. At first I didn’t pay any attention as I’ve seen jet contrails overhead ever since I was a youngster. Some 20 minutes later I was considerably more interested as the thin streamers had gradually spread out across the sky in a kind of grid work or tic-tac-toe pattern. We watched in disbelief as a bright clear summer day was turned into a grey overcast soup right before our very eyes. The following afternoon the same thing happened, in pretty much the same way, except this time we got huge X patterns all over the sky. This time the people I was with were just as perplexed as I was, and we began “brainstorming” to come up with a logical explanation. The very first thing we ruled out was commercial airliner traffic because actual jet contrails are made of water condensation vapor and always dissipate away into nothing before you loose sight of the jet. The other reason commercial jets were ruled out is because if anycommercial airline pilot flew the patterns we saw they’d be fired instantly; no ifs, ands, or buts about it!
A week later I was back home in the Seattle area when I looked up to see three big streamers being sprayed across the sky. My neighbor was out in his driveway, so I called to him – and pointed out the chemtrails. We stood there watching these three jets when suddenly we saw three more coming in on a perpendicular approach. This new flight was on a course to intersect the trails from the first flight…and within a few minutes the entire sky was filled with triple X’s. I asked my neighbor if he’d seen this before and he shrugged, saying “Those are just jet contrails, been seeing them since the 50′s
.” We spoke for a few minutes as we watched the chemical streamers thicken, and spread out just as I’d witnessed in Alaska the week previous. Suddenly the neighbor turned to me with an ashen face, his expression one of rude discovery, he said, “Those are military tankers…our government is spraying us!

(NaturalNews) I’m absolutely shocked at how many people don’t investigate what’s really in the products they swallow. When something is sold as an herb, vitamin, superfood or supplement, they think it’s automatically safe. And while the natural products industry has a truly remarkable safety record — especially in contrast to the massive number of deaths caused by pharmaceuticals – it still suffers from a lot of hidden toxins that are routinely used throughout the industry.
I know this because I’ve been an investigative journalist and activist in the natural health industry for over a decade. Natural News is arguably the most-read natural health news website in the world, reaching millions of readers a month. I’ve walked the floors of countless trade shows, conducted hundreds of interviews and spent tens of thousands of dollars on laboratory tests to determine what’s in these products. On top of that, I’m deep into organic product formulations and certified organic food production, serving as the supervisor of a USDA-certified organic food production and packing facility.
When I look around the natural products industry, I see examples of super honest, high-integrity companies like Nature’s Path and Dr. Bronner’s. I also see an alarming number of cheats, crooks and charlatans who are only involved in the industry to profit from the explosion of interest in health supplements. In truth, some nutritional products are downright dangerous to your health. My role as a journalist and activist is to help you tell the difference between products that are GOOD for you vs. products that might actually be toxic. Because ultimately, I want you to be healthy, vibrant, intelligent and active. I want you to enjoy life and improve the quality of your life.
Be prepared to be shocked in reading what follows. After reviewing this list, you will probably throw out quite a few products in your refrigerator and pantry. Very few people are willing to tell you the truth revealed here, so some of this may come as a complete shock (see #1 and #2, below).

Some big strides have been made recently in chemtrail awareness. Thanks to the efforts of people like Dane Wigington at GeoengineeringWatch.org who has been appearing on dozens of radio shows each month, and approaching civic and environmental groups and regularly contributing eye opening articles to news sites. But there are many others like him, such as the tireless folks like those at aircrap.org and many other sites and blogs. It’s working. We have founding pioneers like Clifford Carnicom at the Carnicom Institute, Will Thomas at WillThomasOnline and Rosalind Peterson at theAgricultureDefenseCoalition and many others to thank as well.
The list goes on and on.
Remember, most of this is more grass roots than anything. Rather than just preaching to ourselves we need to inform those around us, those who do not yet realize the severity of their condition due to these insane geoengineering programs. These planted algae blooms the Navy is experimenting with, which Rosalind Peterson has been screaming about for years, are yet another horrific program destroying our environment.
When you add GMO foods, fluoridated water, deliberately tainted food and then deadly vaccines, a nightmarish reality starts to set in. And we need to be there to help whenever possible to birth people into this new conscious awareness.
Because it stings like a bitch in a B horror film when it first hits. Continue Reading

(NaturalNews) Pepsi and Coke both sell “natural” food smoothies and other products under the brands Naked and Odwalla, respectively. Both of these so called health food brands have been around for some time now, yet most people are completely in the dark about the corporations behind these creations.
Pepsi and Coke only pretend to support healthy food choices. Both of the industry giants donated millions to defeat proposition 37, the GMO labeling act. And lets not forget, these are the owners of the two biggest soft drinks partially responsible for our country’s all time high rates of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Unfortunately most consumers are tricked into thinking they are doing something good for their health when they drink a Naked or Odwalla juice.
Lets look at the facts:
- In its early days, Odwalla was a small company owned by a few individuals that made real, raw food juices. Since its acquisition by Coca Cola in 2001, almost everything has changed.
- Naked juice was sued for knowingly using GMOs in its juice, when it advertised as “all natural” and “Non-GMO.”
- Neither of these food drinks use organic produce, which means you’re ingesting pesticides. Continue Reading
The mainstream media is invoking déjà vu with their latest laughable attempt to frame yet another study that actually highlighted the benefits of organic into a hysterical anti-organic news frenzy. This time, however, some publications are actually publishing the truth on the matter. Why? Because last time that the mainstream media conglomerate decided to smear the last organic foods study’s findings and proclaim how great pesticides and GMOs are for you and your family, it ended in a major apology by the New York Times.
And it was this piece, a response to the uproar from the public following the alternative news media’s response to the mainstream media spin (including my piece first released on the night of the study with a video breakdown), that signified the final nail in the coffin for the mainstream media’s previous assault on organic foods. In the apology piece, New York Times columnist Mark Bittman states:
That was dumb of me… I’m sorry. This junk science deserves a response. Ignoring it isn’t enough. I apologize.
But now, once again, some sources such as CBS have begun spinning the latest organic food study. In this study, just like the last one, it was found that organic food contained less brain-damaging pesticides, has higher concentrations of antioxidants, doesn’t contain GMOs, brain-tumor-linked artificial sweeteners, mercury-containing high-fructose corn syrup, and so on. However many sources don’t seem to care about the facts. Instead, they title something like ‘Organic Same as Conventional Say Docs’. Meanwhile, some are airing on the side of the truth to avoid backlash.
But don’t take my word for it, just look at the below image from Google News. Notice the difference in titles? You can clearly see instances of nutritional doublespeak, in which news agencies title an article something wildly incorrect and then go on to say the opposite inside the content of the story. We know that the vast majority of corn, soybeans, and much of many other crops are genetically modified, but do we know how the how much GMOs are consumed each year? Actually, yes. Average Americans today eat about 193 pounds of genetically modified foods over 12 months—and that’s an underestimate, according to theEnvironmental Working Group.
EWG analyzed data from 2011 provided by the US Department of Agriculture to investigate how much GMOs Americans were eating annually. Four foods—sugar beets, corn syrup, soybean oil, and corn-based products—were selected for calculation, with 95 percent of sugar beets, 93 percent of soybeans, and 88 percent of corn grown in the US being some of the top genetically modified foods.
They found that the average American adult, weighing 179 pounds, consumes 68 pounds of beet sugar, 58 pounds of corn syrup, 38 pounds of soybean oil, and 29 pounds of corn-based products each year. This means the average American eats more than his or her body weight in GMOs annually—likely more than that.
GMOs can be found aplenty in the average grocery store (and even Whole Foods
, despite marketing claims). EWG did not include in their study the myriad other GM foods we eat every year; here are some GMO foods to add to your GMO foods list

By now most of us know of the enormous issue surrounding GMOs, GMO labeling, and California’s Proposition 37. Proposition 37, a bill that would require all genetically modified foods to be labeled in California, has gained tremendous support from the public.
But while an overwhelming number of individuals want nothing more than for GMO foods to be labeled, others are doing everything in their power to stop such a bill from existing.
It isn’t surprising to see biotech giants like Monsanto go against Proposition 37 and GMO labeling, but do you have any idea who else is fighting Prop 37?
Who is Really Supporting Prop 37? More Importantly, Who is Really Against it?
On November 6, 2012, voters will decide if California’s Proposition 37 will be the first bill to require the labeling of genetically modified foods. About 18 states have made similar attempts, fighting for the labeling of GMOs, but nothing has even come close to Prop 37.
Since Proposition 37 came to light, it has received significant backing both from the public and various entities. A recent poll shows that GMO labeling is so desired that the pro-labeling side has a 3-to-1 advantage. Organic leaders supporting Prop 37 have contributed approximately $2.6 million so far, with leaders like Dr. Mercola, Organic Consumers Association, Nature’s Path, and Lundberg donating the most. But even as supporters rise up and speak out, those fighting GMO labeling aren’t even close to throwing in the towel.
You would think that donations of at least $2.6 million would be enough, and maybe it is, but the funds are nothing compared to the opponent. While $2.6 million had been raised so far supporting Prop 37, a whopping $23.5 million (for visual purpose: $23,000,000 dollars) has been donated to fighting Prop 37. Biotech giant Monsanto donated $4,208,000 alone. Here is a short list of the top deep-pocket anti-labelers and their respected donations. Continue Reading

Growing your own food is exciting, not only because you get to see things grow from nothing into ready-to-eat fruits and veggies, but you also don’t have to worry about the pesticides they might contain, and you definitely cut down on the miles they—and you—have to travel.
As it turns out, with pretty minimal effort, anyone can be a gardener. My boyfriend and I are essentially first-timers this season and so far have the beginnings of strawberries peeking out, tomatoes are on their way, the basil’s about ready for a big batch of pesto, and once the last frost hits, the peppers, kale, spinach, chard, and mesclun will be on their way, too. All on a tiiiny little terrace (with the help of a little DIY carpentry).
If you’re up to the challenge—and it really isn’t much of one—growing your own food can be so rewarding. And so much cheaper! Just be sure to choose the right planter or container, learn how to maintain it properly, and go find yourself some seeds! (Or starter plants.)

Here’s a starter list of all the crazy things even urban gardeners, without space for a garden, can grow at home. Continue Reading

If we all dropped dead after eating junk food, the message would have been loud and clear: DO NOT INGEST! But this is one of the things we probably have to learn the hard way. Many people these days struggle through a long time of sickness, being plagued with low immunity, high toxicity, and a wide range of metabolic imbalances. Most likely they will have to leave this world in a hospital, after a long addiction to medical drugs and doctors.
In the Aboriginal tribes on the other hand, the elderly leave their community and go alone to die in the wilderness when they “feel” it’s time to go. Just like that, on their own feet. Decent. Proud. Simple. Peaceful. In perfect harmony with Nature.
Most modern, “civilized” people refuse to make and acknowledge any connection between the food they ingest, their lifestyle and their health. And they can do that because the effects are both cumulative and most of the times delayed.
When you store enough toxins to build up cancer in your body, the first thought that comes to mind is ”I have to kill it“, NOT ”The food I ate and the lifestyle I had were bad, I have to start all new and heal my body and mind“. As you see, the focus is mainly to “kill” something external, a disease that fell on our heads with no reason, out of nowhere (like conventional medicine likes us to believe) and NOT internal, based on our own actions and choices. While millions of Americans were busy celebrating freedom from tyranny during the recent Independence Day festivities, Monsanto was actively trying to thwart that freedom with new attacks on health freedom. It turns out that the most evil corporation in the world has quietly attached riders to both the 2012 Farm Bill
and the 2013 Agriculture Appropriations Bill
that would essentially force
the federal government to approve GMOs at the request of biotechnology companies, and prohibit
all safety reviews of GMOs from having any real impact on the GMO approval process.
The Alliance for Natural Health – USA (ANH-USA), the Organic Consumers Association (OCA), and several other health freedom advocacy groups have been actively drawing attention to these stealth attacks in recent days, and urging Americans to rise up and oppose them now before it is too late. If we fail to act now as a single, unified community devoted to health freedom, in other words, America’s agricultural future could literally end up being controlled entirely by the biotech industry, which will have full immunity from the law.
You can fight back now against these threats to food freedom by visiting:
Full exemption from the law for the biotech industry Continue Reading
(NaturalNews) An overwhelming majority of Americans believe the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a legal responsibility to require proper labeling of foods containing genetically-modified organisms (GMOs). But to this day, the FDA refuses to comply with the demands of the American people, who it is supposed to represent, or with the law, which is why your help is needed to force this rogue agency to finally step up and do the right thing.
Based on a number of different polls conducted, anywhere between 90 and 95 percent of people living in the U.S. want GMOs to be labeled. According to the new GMO labeling campaign Just Label It!, 92 percent of Americans want to know whether or not the foods they buy contain GMOs, especially when these foods are being fed to young children.
“While our reasons for wanting to know what’s in our food may vary, what unifies us is the belief that it’s our right,” says the Just Label It! campaign about mandatory GMO labeling. “Without labeling of GE (genetically engineered) foods, we cannot make informed choices about our food.” Continue Reading
