Crying Wolf is Israel’s Best Defense

Listening to the rabid statements coming out of Israel’s leaders over this past week has pointed to something border lining on the comical. Israel is paranoid and comes across sometimes as a little bit pathetic.

Of course, in the international arena, Israel’s tirades are taken as ‘defensive’ and the fact that the United States backs Israel at just about every turn stifles any real criticisms of its approach. But objectively speaking, Israel is ridiculous in just how much it attacks, not militarily this time, but through its never ending war of words.

Take for example, the recent Human Rights Council resolution to form a fact-finding mission to investigate the implications of Israeli settlements on the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of the Palestinian people” passed last week. Israel began ranting about how the HRC was hypocritical and biased and had an “automatic majority” against Israel. Obviously predicting what Israel would try to do, the decision also called on Israel “not to obstruct the process of investigation and to cooperate fully with the mission.”

Of course this is exactly what happened. Israel says it would refuse to cooperate with the mission, calling the Council “preposterous.” The United States was the only country that voted against the proposal. But instead of the United States bashing the council and its resolution, why doesn’t it ask why Israel is so hell-bent on not cooperating with its probe? If Israel is so confident that it has done no wrong, it should not be worried about anything. And if the United States claims it is opposed to settlement building in the occupied Palestinian territories, then why doesn’t it allow the mission to come to Palestine and see for itself? Because, it is no different than the Goldstone Report on Israel’s 2008-2009 invasion of Gaza in which 1,400 were Palestinians killed. Much like many of the oppressive regimes in the region that are being slapped with sanctions and even military intervention, Israel will fight the world tooth and nail defending its actions but won’t allow anyone in to see for themselves if there is any truth to the “preposterous” claims being made.  Continue Reading

Kids All Over America Are Being Put On Buses And Sent To Alternate Locations During School Terror Drills

All over the United States, school children are being taken out of their classrooms, put on buses and sent to “alternate locations” during terror drills.  These exercises are often called “evacuation drills” or “relocation drills” and they are more than a little disturbing.  Sometimes parents are notified in advance where the kids are being taken and sometimes they are only told that the children are being taken to an “undisclosed location”.

In the years since 9/11 and the Columbine school shootings, there has been a concerted effort to make school emergency drills much more “realistic” and much more intense.

Unfortunately, the fact that many of these drills are deeply traumatizing many children does not seem to bother too many people.  Do we really need to have “active shooter” drills where men point guns at our kids and fire blanks at them?  Do we really need to have “relocation drills” where kids are rapidly herded on to buses and told that they must surrender their cell phones because they will not be allowed to call anyone?  Our schools more closely resemble prison camps every single day, and our children that are suffering because of it.

It is also important to keep in mind that much of the time these drills are not the fault of local school administrators.  Often, these drills are being mandated at the state level.  Our politicians have become obsessed with “school safety” in recent years, and apparently their idea of “school safety” involves deeply traumatizing our kids. Israel severs ties with UN Human Rights Council, bans them from entry over settlement probe

In a now typical move by Israel to flout international lawand blatantly violate its most basic tenets, prevent human rights investigations and refuse to be held accountable for their illegal settlements, they have decided to cut all ties with the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), simply because they have planned to investigate the expansion of settlements in the Occupied PalestinianTerritory.

Not only are they indefinitely severing all working ties with the Human Rights Council, they are also refusing to cooperate with plans to investigate Jewish settlements in the Palestinian territories, which are widely regarded as being clear violations of international law.

It is only logical to assume that if Israel was acting in accordance with international law and respecting the rights of Palestinians, they would have no problem allowing such an investigation.

While refusing an investigation is not, in and of itself, an indicator of wrongdoing, just as refusing a warrantless search is not an indicator of criminal activity, it is indeed suspicious.

“Working relations, participating in debates and discussion and exchanging papers, sending information and requesting information, and organizing visits and so on and so on, this is all suspended,” Yigal Palmor, a spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry told CNN.

According to Israel’s Foreign Ministry, this decision came after the Human Rights Council passed a resolution to create a “Fact Finding Mission on the Influence of Settlements on Palestinians.”

They described the move as “surrealistic,” claiming that the Human Rights Council “is instrumentalized as a tool to push for one-sided politicized moves instead of promoting human rights.”
Unfortunately, this delusional approach to reality seems to be all-too-common amongst the Israeli government these days.

Activism Shuts Down “Pink Slime” Plants

In response to serious health activism that has spread like wildfire over the ammonia-treated ‘pink slime‘ product once commonly found in school lunches and supermarkets alike, the top producer of the toxic ingredient has shut down production in 3 out of 4 of its plants for 60 days. According to the corporate administer of Beef Products Inc, a South Dakota-based company, the ‘temporary’ closure may soon become “a permanent suspension.”

Even McDonald’s was forced to remove the pink slime amid calls from activists in a campaign spearheaded by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

Meanwhile, a startling 70% of supermarket ground beef maintained the slime. The pink slime is made up of leftover meat from beef after all of the muscular cuts have been removed. The meat is not muscle, but fat trimmings and connective tissue that are separated from the bone. Jamie Oliver says that the result is what would be sold at the cheapest form for dogs. Question: are you more terrified by Muslim extremists, by “domestic terrorists” – or by your own government? Which group is more likely to assault you? To kill you? To unjustly imprison and even torture you?
The U.S. federal government has ALREADY:
Built and is staffing a huge gulag of concentration camps ["detention camps"], with camps in all 50 states. Wikipedia notes that:
On January 24, 2006, Halliburton’s subsidiary KBR (formerly Kellogg, Brown and Root) announced that it had been awarded a $385 million contingency contract by the Department of Homeland Security to build “temporary detention and processing facilities” or internment camps. According to Business Wire, this contract will be executed in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District. Critics point to the Guantanamo Bay detention camp as a possible model. According to a press release posted on the Halliburton website, “The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.”
Note on incarceration of innocent Americans: We already incarcerate more people in the U.S. than any other nation on Earth, and most of those poor souls are not guilty of any real crime against anyone (pot users being the largest group); they should never have been jailed at all. The inmates at the new concentration camps won’t be rapists, murderers, and actual terrorists: we have plenty of jail cells for them already. Who WILL be sent to the camps?
Our government has also already passed the Patriot Act (two senators recently reported that “Patriot Act Interpretations Would “Stun” Americans” – showing that government is continuing its long tradition of lying about how it will use new powers), the NDAA, and a host of other laws that specifically (and illegally) strip constitutional rights from American citizens, allowing for secret arrest (including by the military), indefinite detention, torture, and murder of any person, citizen or otherwise, without habeas corpus, without a warrant, and without due process of any kind. And congressional action is not necessary to initiate such horrors. Last week I told the true story about driving from Wisconsin to Georgia — and back — on $14 worth of gas in the 1960s. I drove from Wisconsin to Florida in a pickup truck on $20 worth of fuel in the 1980s.

And in January 2009, a gallon of gas averaged $1.83 or $1.84 per gallon (actually lower, adjusted for inflation, than when Pres. GW Bush was innaugurated). I’m nearly 70, but the last three years are the only time I’ve ever seen gasoline and diesel rise by almost $2.50 a gallon.

[One more thing about that 1963 trip: the Interstate highway system wasn't completed yet, so that trip wasn't all "road miles"; parts of it were on 2-lane roads, and right through towns and cities. You are willing to carry out a dawn raid and risk putting a couple slugs in that person, just because you accept the ‘intelligence’ of your superior officers. It’s just a job ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

You sell, promote and distribute toxic lethal drugs and vaccines under the guise of health care, without first doing sufficient levels of research into what these drugs actually contain. But hey it pays the mortgage ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

 

Your career is all about distributing threats to people because they are struggling to survive in this unfair and cruel system and you don’t bother to stop and think about what you are doing. After all why would you when you can easily pay your bills ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

 

You work your way up through the educational system, abiding by the ridiculous standards of tutoring, working within the confounds of the seriously watered-down knowledge being disguised as education, yet you never question. Because it pays the bills ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

 

Your alarm clock goes, you’ve got to go into the office and receive orders to visit a house to go and fleece people as a bailiff. People who have been struggling to pay their ‘unlawful’ council tax or debts. You know in your heart this is not right; stealing people’s possessions, even their families heritage. Yea a dirty job; but you know someone’s gotta do it ~ you’veSOLD OUT!

 

 

You finally got your steady job, working at the airport; strip searching people, scanning people, inspecting their personal items and ensuring they conform like good little sheep going through their pens. You don’t feel entirely comfortable with what you’re doing, you know something’s not right about this role. But it is a steady job and it beats being out of work ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

 

You carry out the most insane, cruel experiments on defenseless animals, to ensure corporations will make more profits, and further their eugenics, JWO agenda, all for a comfortable lifestyle ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

 

As a local MP you have people writing to you all the time with their serious cases of injustice carried out by the exact same people whom you work for, but you carry on all the same working within this corrupt construct, coz it pays the bills ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

 

 

You don your black ninja outfit, fully protected physically and legally to go and batter, tazer, pepper spray, arrest and cage peace-loving conscious souls, all for the next months wages ~ you’ve SOLD OUT!

Why You Should Avoid Fast Food at All Costs

It is no secret that the average American diet is in completely in the slumps. Consuming packaged foods, fast food, artificially enhanced products, and especially low quality cheap food is the norm, but is it any wonder that being overweight while also falling victim to a host of illnesses is also the norm. Being raised in this era of poor health makes it difficult to know what is truly healthy and unhealthy. Food has drastically changed since decades ago, and so parents often aren’t aware of the severe decline in food quality. Fast food in particular is one of the primary reasons for the drastic health decline seen today.

Why You Should Avoid Fast Food at All Costs

If you haven’t already, take a couple of hours to watch the films Super Size Me or Fast Food Nation. After watching these films, you can see first hand how fast food causes severe damage to your body – even if you don’t consume it for every meal of every day like in one of the films. Fast food is nothing but a concoction of harmful and health-damaging chemicals which can easily be understood if you were to think for a moment how any restaurant could offer a double cheeseburger for only $1.

Most recently it was uncovered that these $1 cheeseburgers, along with the rest of McDonald’s’ beef and chicken, were actually harnessing ‘pink slime’ scrap meat covered with ammonium hydroxide. Not only does this fake meat provide no nutritional value at all, but it is chemically contaminated from ammonia, the toxic cleaning agent found under the sink. The meat is actually fat trimmings and connective tissue that are separated from the bone – scrap meat that is not fit for human consumption. The ammonia treatment is in response to the danger of contamination from salmonella or E. coli, but the scrap meats themselves are more likely to contain pathogens. Despite the chemical treatment, the meat is still in the line of fire for contamination.

Additionally, McDonald’s McNuggets contain 7 different ingredients making up the ‘meat’, many of which contain sub-ingredients. Instead of using real meat, the ingredient list utilizes sodium phosphate, safflower oil, wheat starch, dextrose, and autolyzed yeast extract – a particularly dangerous substance very similar to the toxic MSG. Along side with these ingredients comes the use of dimethylpolysiloxane, asilicon substance used as an anti-foaming agent and often found in breast implants and silly putty. Continue Reading

Aspartame is one of the most used artificial sweeteners in the food supply today. It also happens to be one of the most dangerous.

Aspartame is used in thousands of products as a substitute to sugar, though consumers would actually be better off eating regular sugar.

Specifically, the toxic substance is often found in diet soft drinks and various candies. You should also be aware that aspartame is even present in a number of lesser-known conventional products as well.

Millions either knowingly or unknowingly consume aspartame on a daily basis. However, if the public was aware of the various dangers aspartame poses to individual health, they would stop — or would they? Aspartame is an addictive substance.

Most people who consume diet sodas regularly soon develop a craving for it. This is because of aspartame’s addictive quality. Soon after consuming the ingredient on a normal basis, many people find themselves unable to kick the habit.

This is concerning due to the fact that aspartame has been linked to a number of diseases, can impair the immune system, and is even known to cause cancer. Aspartame has even been found to create tumors in lab rats. One study showed that of 48 rats experimented on, up to 67 percent of all female rats developed tumors roughly the size of golf balls or larger. This is glaringly in contrast to the perceived nature of what a ‘sugar free alternative’ would entail, which is generally thought to be a ‘healthy’ substitute to sugar.
